What we love most about this spa (in addition to the luxurious treatments) are its relaxation areas. Two separate lounges are each punctuated by a fireplace, and both offer plush chairs, light snacks, hot tea and seasonally infused water.
Although you can choose any of the spa services on the menu for your time in the VIP Suite, Skana Spa offers treatments that were created just for couples. This includes the 80-minute Dance of the Song Birds, which consists of a full-body exfoliation followed by side-by-side massages using healing birch bud oil.
Even the treatment rooms offer nods to Oneida culture — large dreamcatchers are a central feature and beds are topped with thick and colorful woven blankets.
