I though maybe I hadn’t put enough on, so I applied a large amount, but still no good. If you want to stick roofing felt, then don’t buy this product - it doesn’t do what it says on the tin!,

Black Jack Roof Felt Adhesive is a cold applied, black oxidised bitumen based adhesive used to bond roofing felt to itself, concrete, asphalt, metal, wood and similar surfaces. Also suitable for use as a cold gritting solution. Bonding all types of roofing felts to metal, concrete, roofing felt, wood. Sealing roofing felt laps. Apply 2 coats of Black Jack roof coating with a brush, allowing the first coat to dry before the second. Applying To Built Up Felt Roofs; First, remove loose chippings. If there are any defects wider than 0.75mm, fill in first with Bitumen Mastic and allow to dry. Any blisters should be opened and cleaned. Apply Black Jack and leave it to go. The Everbuild Black Jack Bitumen Trowel Mastic - 5 Litre is a trowel applied black heavily filled bituminous compound with added fibres for reinforcement. The product forms a surface skin, but the mass below remains soft to allow for moderate movement.
